About us
Food equity, nutrition education, and access to nature
The Edible Healing Garden is a hospital-based community garden to help promote food equity, provide nutrition and gardening education, and improve cultural diversity and inclusivity in the greater Los Angeles area to the medically underserved.
This garden intends to be a healing environment that also addresses nutrition insecurity in the population at the Los Angeles General Hospital (LAGH) by empowering families with nutrition knowledge, food sovereignty, and access to nature.
